• Instructed mainly by hands-on work, along with a written curriculum
• Students will work on practical skill building projects and then these skills will be incorporated into real-life construction work projects

• Students will be taught to read a tape measure along with other construction trade items and how to put them to practical use

• At the end of the program, students will be equipped for entry level jobs in the automotive repair industry or they can further their education by attending a college that specializes in automotive technology degrees.
• Students will develop a solid foundation in electrical/electronic systems and a general understanding of all automobile systems taught according to ASE guidelines.
• Activities will include written and hands on operations in both the classroom and a fully equipped shop.
• Will study engine repair and diagnostics, electrical systems, drivetrain, air conditioning, and many subsystems found on late-model vehicles.
• Introduction into Diesel engines and powertrain will be covered for students desiring to work in the diesel/heavy-duty industry.
• Field trips to industry related businesses to develop an understanding of the wide range of job opportunities in this industry.
