Missouri CORE 42
- Senate Bill 997
- Established the Higher Education Core Transfer Curriculum Act
- The CORE 42 curriculum is guaranteed to transfer to any public Missouri 2- and 4-year college and university
- Some private colleges and universities also participate in CORE 42
- What does it mean for you?
- If you take a CORE 42 class (most of our dual credit classes qualify) you can be assured that it will transfer to a Missouri public college or university. Most Missouri private colleges and universities honor several of these credits as well. Many credits will transfer to several out of state colleges and universities too.

College Now Attendance Policy
- Attend class
- You will follow the OTC schedule, not the OHS schedule, for holidays
- If you miss two weeks of classes or don’t turn in assignments online, you will be administratively withdrawn from the course. There are serious implications for this (See upcoming slide.).
- Plan ahead and communicate with your instructors!
- Students who attend class regularly perform better and receive higher grades!
REMEMBER:
Not only is this class part of your high school transcript, but it also becomes part of your official college transcript
